True Treats Top 5 Popsicle Recipes (no sugar added)




1. Strawberry Popsicles

Ingredients:
3 oz unflavored gelatin
½ c strawberries
2 c water

Directions:
Bring one cup of water to boil. In a mixing bowl, place the gelatin. Add the boiling water to the gelatin and whisk. Meanwhile, place the strawberries into a food process and puree. Add the strawberries and remaining cup of water and mix well. Pour the mixture in small paper cups or popsicle molds. Check on in thirty minutes to add sticks. Allow to completely harden and enjoy.

2. Blueberry Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients:
1 c vanilla yogurt
½ c blueberries
¼ c orange juice

Directions:
In a food processor, add the yogurt, blueberries and orange juice. Allow the mixture to completely blend. Pour into cups or molds and enjoy. When the mixture begins to thicken, about forty minutes, add the sticks. Allow to completely harden and enjoy.

3. Raspberry Ice Cream Popsicles

Ingredients:
2 c vanilla ice cream
½ c raspberry
½ lemon

Directions:
            Place the ice cream out so it can soften. In a food processor, place the raspberries and squeeze the lemon. Puree until well blended. Scoop the ice cream into a bowl and pour the puree mixture over the top. With a large spoon, mix well together. Scoop the mixture into paper cups or molds. You can add the sticks instantly, allow to thicken and enjoy.

4. Frozen Banana Popsicles

Ingredients:
2 bananas
1 c vanilla yogurt
toppings of choice

Directions:
            Peel bananas and cut in half. Place the bananas on skewers. Spread the toppings of your choice on a baking sheet. Dip the banana in yogurt to completely cover and roll into toppings. (We used roasted peanuts, chocolate chips, coconut, and sprinkles). Place into freezer and allow to harden, enjoy.

5. Watermelon & Raspberry Popsicles

Ingredients:
1 ½ c watermelon (seedless)
1 c raspberries
½ lime
2 T water

Directions:
            In a food processor, add the watermelon, raspberries, lime and water. Allow to completely combine. Pour into cups or molds and allow to thicken for thirty minutes, add sticks, and allow to completely harden.
