Meanwhile,
chop up the onion. In a large pot, add a dash of olive oil. When heated, add

the excess fat from pot. Add the beef broth, lower heat and allow to simmer ten minutes. Add the spices, tomato sauce, vinegar, worcestershire

Berger Cookies
Ingredients:
Icing
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
½ T corn syrup
½ t vanilla
3 oz heavy cream
¾ c powder sugar
Batter
2 ½ T butter
salt
½ t vanilla
½ t baking powder
¼ c sugar
1 egg
¾ c flour
3 T milk
Directions:
For
the icing, scald the heavy cream. Place the chocolate chips, corn syrup and
vanilla in a bowl. Add the heavy cream to bowl, stir until melted. Add the
powder sugar, beat until thick and well incorporated.
For
the batter, preheat the oven at 400. Cream the butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add the salt, vanilla and baking powder. Mix well. Add the sugar and egg, mix
well. Slowly add the flour and mix, alternating the two. Do not over mix. Place
on baking sheets, flattening the cookie. Bake 10-12 minutes, when bottled are browned.
When
the cookies are cooled, dip the bottom of the cookie into the chocolate. Chill
to harden chocolate and frosting. When the frosting is thicker, add to top of
cookie, allowing large heaps of frosting to form. Enjoy! GO RAVENS!
